Not Forgotten

Jesus said that He is our bread. He is the vine and we are the branches. Do you feel as if the bread in your life is dry and stale, and the wine has turned to vinegar? Maybe the stress of just trying to maintain a Christian standard in a world of compromise and ridicule has taken its toll on you and your family.

Take heart, you are not alone. The flood of the world maybe trying to push your house over but you will stand if your house if built on the Rock. God has been preparing us for such a time as this. We have nowhere to go but to Him. All around us the sand is sinking and we see that only one thing remains and that is Jesus. Maybe churches and Christian people have let you down, but I know that Jesus will never leave or forsake you.

"FEAR NOT (THERE IS NOTHING TO FEAR), FOR I AM WITH YOU; DO NOT LOOK AROUND YOU IN TERROR AND BE DISMAYED, FOR I AM YOUR GOD. I WILL STRENGTHEN AND HARDEN YOU TO DIFFICULTIES, YES, I WILL HELP YOU; YES I WILL HOLD YOU UP AND RETAIN YOU WITH MY (VICTORIOUS) RIGHT HAND OF RIGHTNESS AND JUSTICE." ISAIAH 41:10 Amplified bible.

This is the most remarkable thing, you are not alone in what seems like isolation. God is doing a work all around the world in His people. He is preparing His people, His Bride for what is about to take place. He wants us to be joined together, not out of denominations but coming together because of our hunger and thirst for more of Jesus, our Lord.

For too long we have been running to hear a word from God, now He wants us to come running to His mercy seat.

Why do we go searching elsewhere for the answers we need? Why is it so hard to come before God? For many people they would find it easier to climb a mountain, trek through the woods, than make one small step downwards. Humbling yourself and kneeling requires a removal of pride.

The Mercy Seat is a place of God's Presence in the Old Testament it was the lid to the Ark of the covenant which contained Aaron's rod and the tablets of stone. This symbolizes the Power of God and the Word of God. Both go hand in hand. You can't have the Power of God without feasting on the Word of God, likewise you can't walk out the Word of God without putting in service the Power of God.
