What Love What Pain
What Truth
Sing
songs of joy and love and jubilation,
But the
heart remains sad and reflective,
The pain
remains,
The
memories of lost battles,
Souls
that have made shipwreck of love,
Pain is
unrelenting and will not let them be complete,
Prayer is
all that’s left, but is left out,
Words
mean nothing as the souls have passed the listening,
Hurt and
pain is all that is spoke,
They need
not what comes from shallow platitudes and phrases,
From
counselors of selfish desires,
From the
wolves that pose as keepers of men’s souls,
Who judge
and not love who hurt with words that deceive,
From well
wishers with no depth or truth,
They
stand outside in the world,
With
hands in their pockets like children,
Scared of
what to do with their pain and guilt,
Cold from
the bare truth that they need and that’s all they know,
Their
search of love has been lost not knowing where to turn,
Leaving
behind the ones who cared divorcing the past,
Thinking
a new life is what I need,
A new
start a new beginning,
A new job
a new mate a new car a new place,
With no
where to find true lasting peace,
Deep
inside they’re longing for a something that will set free,
Someone
to love and care for them,
Like a
child who is comforted by the warmth of fathers embrace,
So they
need the love that is knowing and forgiving,
A father
who knows what is down deep in the heart,
They need
true love from the depth of real love,
The kind
that changes the heart,
A kind
that remains when all else changes,
The love
that can only be from the heart of love,
Scared
and frightened by the calamities that surrounds them,
They need
a truth that will make them strong,
A strong
arm that can lift as the arms of men have failed,
As they
have fallen from the lies of the self proclaimed,
Saying
truth is not absolute
The truth
is that the truth will set them free,
The truth
is that only love can set them free,
The truth
is only the love of a Father can set them free
The truth
is the Father sent a son to love us because he loved us,
Forgives
us of guiltiness and loves us when we are unloved,
Jesus /
God
The Fathers Love
God come
in the flesh.
