These
three paragraphs below I received from a friend and seem to hit a spot
in my heart as we all can relate to what is said here. We have as my
own family have been going through our trials and tribulations. Losing
loved ones, to friends not coming around or not bothering to
communicate for whatever reasons. Changes came about from moving to
another town or things change in their lives or a multitude of things
that can change the relationships. We still must treasure the time we
had or will have again as life changes our lives. God is working in us
to bring out the best in us and to take out those things that we hang
on to too tightly and not let it go to Him. We can thank the Lord for
loving each of us the same even when our relationships go sour. God
still can work in their and our lives. Forgiveness plays a big part in
any of our relationships with any friend or relative or family. Its
sometimes a hard lesson to complete in ones life. Some may take a
lifetime to come to grips with the issues of their lives and at the
last days of life realize they spent all their time hating or
not forgiving someone they could have loved and built such tender and
loving ties with. God will move in our lives as we move toward Him and
learn to love one another as Christ loved us. We have a friend in
Jesus!
When someone
is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have
expressed outwardly or inwardly. They have come to assist you through
a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you
physically, emotionally, or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend,
and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then,
without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this
person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up or
out and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our
need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done. The
prayer you sent up has been answered and it is now time to move on.
When people come
into your life for a SEASON, it is because your turn has come to
share, grow, or learn. They may bring you an experience of peace or
make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They
usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is
real! But, only for a season.
LIFETIME
relationships teach you lifetime lessons; those things you must build
upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to
accept the lesson, love the person/people (anyway); and put what you
have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.
