Today is a day of many words, we hear so many words from so many sources. Politicians, News media, commentators even many Christian speakers good and bad.  We hear so much that we put out a deaf ear out to a lot of it, it becomes just a repeat of what some one else has already said. When Jesus spoke he did not speak like we hear today, words that are said with nothing to back the them up.  Jesus said I have come to heal the sick bring site to the blind raise the dead and heal the broken of spirit, He came with power and actions to prove his words that He spoke.  Today we can hear sermons just to hear sermons maybe for the sheer entertainment of them as some speak so well. They have no power or life just eloquent words. 

(1 Cor 2:4 KJV) And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
(1 Cor 2:5 KJV) That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
(2 Cor 3:12 KJV) Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:
(1 Cor 8:1-3 KJV) Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth.
2. And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.
3.  But if any man love God, the same is known of him.
