Spring Memories

It was the start of spring and the flowers have not yet begun to bloom. The trees have no leaves but the anticipation of the warmer weather was in the air. The fragrance of spring was beginning to become as noticeable as the new green grass growing in the fields. Young calves were jumping and running and the young foals were out and running with their moms. Children were once again laughing and playing outdoors and the sweet voices of the spring were abounding all around as the days become longer the nights become shorter as the harsh winter has passed into spring. Birds again sing with vigor as they return from their long journey from their winter grounds to their nesting sites. All of this seems to remind of the days of youth and the fond memories that surround the journey to adulthood. Again to relive with renewed passion to start again with each spring those things put away with the winter. Life seems to be so short as age begins to creep over you like moss on the trees and you see that time is all you really have to spend and there is so little of it to waste. Numbering our days is a good way to spend each day with the passion and love to live a life so not to waste one day of it.
